i should really learn how to speak hokkien T^T
my grandmother came to stay for i think 1 month or so... and IM suppose to be the translator for my maid and my grandma. but i dont even know how to listen hokkien!!! in the end my maid converse better with my grandma then me... such a failure T^T .. yesterday yesterday my grandma wnted me to copy down a phone number. but she was like saying the numbers so fast that i gotta askher to repeat continuosly and i gotta count the numbers with my hands! god so embarrasing. then just now she was like 'can you help me take a ____?' in hokkien and i dunno what the '____' is so i was like huh?? then she was using her hands to show me something rectangular...so i thought she wanted a PILLOW so i go and take a pillow..thn in the end i found out that she wanted MAGAZINE omg.. -.- should have asked rebecca to come my house to translate...
